With missionaries spread around the country, Local Church Ministries is focused on helping local churches accurately teach God's Word to their youth. We supply the Bible curriculum and then help train your leaders to teach the youth of your church the truths of God's Word.

Mike Bush

After graduating from the Word of Life Bible Institute, Mike joined the staff of Word of Life in Cullinary Service where he served as a chef and then business manager. While pursuing international ministry with Word of Life in Portugal, the Lord redirected Mike and Amy to Florida. Mike served for several years as the Assitant Vice President of Word of Life Florida Ministries. In 2001, Mike became the Vice President of Inn Ministries, overseeing the day-to-day ministry of the Inn. Mike and Amy have three sons and a new daughter-in-law.

Wayne Lewis

Wayne began his ministry as one of the first Word of Life Club missionaries. During these years, he also served on the Island, directed the Ranger camp, and participated in the startup of the Youth Reachout short-term missions program. After several years outside Word of Life as a pastor and then in business, Wayne and his wife Ruthann returned in 1994 and have served in various capacities. Wayne currently serves with the Development Department for Word of Life and as Alumni Director for Word of Life Bible Institute. Wayne and Ruthann have four sons and one grandson.
